BCS Title Game Crowns a Champion of a Fraudulent System

Of an illegitimate system in which nearly the half the top-level college football teams in the country were excluded before the first kickoff ever went up. After a thrilling weekend of NFL playoff football, capped by Marshawn Lynch's 67-yard "Beast Mode" touchdown run, a champion will be crowned in the college ranks tonight when the BCS National Championship game kicks off from Arizona.
It's bound to be a high-scoring affair in the desert tonight when the top-ranked Auburn Tigers take on the second-ranked Oregon Ducks, with both teams averaging at least 42 points per game. While the Ducks look for their first ever national title, Auburn is trying to secure their first championship since 1957.
Ken Goe from The Oregonian previewed the contest on today's show, where he noted how both teams may struggle due to their month-long layoff. While the SEC has won the last four national championships, this is the Pac-10's opportunity to show they belong with the best according to Goe.
The voice of the Seahawks, Steve Raible reveled in Saturday's 41-36 upset victory over the defending Super Bowl champion New Orleans Saints, and compared the differences from this year's squad to the '05 team that won the NFC Championship.
