Tony is a veteran of the Seattle airwaves, having logged nearly 25 years on various AM and FM frequencies. His news work at KIRO has rewarded him with a mantle full of Murrow awards, including the best newscast in America in 2005 and 2008.

After signing on at News Talk 97.3 KIRO FM back in the waning days of the 1980's, Dan's worked his way up from the ranks- working as Desk Assistant, Morning Editor, Afternoon Editor, and Reporter before being kicked upstairs- making him a true mustang, to borrow Navy terminology.

My career at News Talk 97.3 KIRO FM started in 1988 when I was hired as the Morning Desk Assistant. Soon after, I became the Afternoon Editor and then hit the streets as a full-time reporter in 1991.
